Classic Uno
Match the color, number, or symbol. Wilds choose a color. Draw Two and Wild Draw Four make
the next player draw and skip; penalties do not stack. After drawing one, play that card
or pass. With two players, Reverse acts as Skip.
Wild Draw Four is legal only when you have no card of the current color. The affected
player may challenge: an illegal play makes the offender draw four; a failed challenge
makes the challenger draw six.
Liar’s Uno
White-symbol cards play face up. Black-symbol Liar’s cards play face down: declare a
matching color and number or action, truthfully or as a bluff. A Wild Draw Four
declaration matches anything.
Anyone except the player may call “Liar!” before the next player accepts. A caught liar
takes their card back and draws one. A truthful play makes the challenger draw one.
Disguising a regular card as a Liar’s card risks a six-card penalty.
Play a 7 to swap hands with someone. Play a 0 to pass all hands in the current direction.
Exchanges happen before challenge penalties. Wild Draw Four can be played regardless of
your other cards.
Wild Liar’s Challenge: choose a color. Everyone else submits a card of
that color face down; someone with none must bluff. The leader may challenge players one
at a time. A wrong color returns the card and adds one penalty card. The first correct
color ends the challenge; all unchallenged cards are discarded under the wild. Multiple
players who empty their hands win together.
UNO & scoring
Check “Say UNO” before playing down to one, or press UNO before someone catches you. A
catch before the next turn costs two cards. First to empty their hand wins the round.
Number cards score their value, actions 20, wilds 50. The winner earns the remaining
cards’ points; first to 500 wins the match.
A face-down play waits for the next player to accept so everyone has a chance to
challenge. Reloading keeps your seat in this browser. The game code lets others join or
watch; keep it among friends.
